Does Possession of Child Pornography Violate Both State & Federal Law?

Possession of child pornography is a violation of federal law and state law. Years ago, the child pornography cases involved magazines or photographs, but in this Internet day and age, they involve Internet photos, Internet videos. It's a horrible crime with serious, serious consequences in both state and federal court. Of course you cannot represent yourself, that's insane. Typically search warrants are issued, iPads, phones, computers are seized, they're analyzed and then criminal charges follow. It is essential that you be represented by competent criminal defense attorneys who understand how to effectively represent people in cases like this. And I just wanna take this opportunity to say that viewing or possessing child pornography is a serious, serious crime. Don't do it! Just because it's on the Internet, doesn't mean that it's legal.
